Recently, I’ve been thinking more about my company and myself than ever before.

After thinking about it over and over, I finally managed to gather my thoughts so I thought I’d write them down.

It was around the fall of 2004 that I realized that financial trading would become automated in the future.

I think it’s probably one of the earliest in the world.

By the end of 2004, I had finished developing my own program and was enjoying automated trading.

My motivation for starting to invest was to prepare for the state of Japan’s social security system due to my concerns about it.

I realized that I’m not the only one who thinks it would have been better to prepare in case Japan’s social security system were to be cut back.

And there are a lot of them.

Probably most of the country.

So, I decided to turn it into a business to make automated trading known to people all over the world.

That was in 2006.

“I think 10 years in this job will go by quickly, so it’s going to be tough.”

That’s what I told the original members, and they joined us.

19 years have passed.

Along the way, we experienced a number of once-in-a-century economic crises, and our company was buffeted by these rough seas.

But it still exists.

It is also used by customers.

It has been exactly 10 years since I said, “It will take 10 years of hard work,” and I begin to feel like I am finally being recognized.

Then the term FinTech was coined, and things related to financial technology began to become popular.

Many new companies will be formed, some of which will attract significant investment and operate, and then probably undergo consolidation over the next few years.

Maybe they’ll turn their attention to us too.

Well, here it is. The mental organization that led me to write this article.

The product was done. Multiple products.

The customers are there and the company is still in business.

This means that we have achieved 0 to 1 both technically and profitably.

1→100 remains. What should we do next? What is the right way to proceed as a company?

That’s the question I was asking myself.

Do I want to spread this product rapidly and grow my company? From 1 to 100 quickly?

Should we consider bringing in outside capital for this purpose?

Bringing in outside capital will require a different approach than before.

But if it doesn’t spread in the first place, it would be unfortunate for the people to whom I want to deliver this product.

It would be a misfortune for Japan if it doesn’t become more widespread.

But I feel like there’s something wrong with promoting it in a different way than before.

I was pondering these things over and over.

And the conclusion that was drawn was,

Carefully carry out steps 1 to 15

That’s what it was.

As always, we have decided to provide more detailed information about this product to individual investors who need it.

And from 15 to 100, I hope that those who have used it up to 15 will be active as evangelists in realizing a world in which investors all over Japan are using some form of automated trading system.

I also believe that by that time, it would be in Japan’s best interest to leave it to business leaders who are far more experienced than I am.
