Just because individuals from other countries are investing does not mean that our country should too.

I have my own reasons for this.

The future of Japan.

The declining birthrate and aging population have been a concern for a long time, and Japan is moving toward an aging society the fastest among developed countries.

When we think about social security for the elderly, such as pensions and medical expenses, the source of funds comes from money received from people who can pay insurance premiums, income tax, and resident taxes.

When I think about how many young people it would take to support me when I need their help, the burden on each young person becomes enormous.

Isn’t it just too cute?

A world in which young people who will raise children and carry the future of Japan on their shoulders must devote most of their energy to caring for the elderly.

It’s a pity.

If even one or two elderly people were to choose not to rely on public care, the burden on young people would be lightened somewhat.

Please stop thinking that you’re missing out if you don’t get it when everyone else is.

If you do that, you might end up in a situation where there’s nothing you can do and it’s all gone.

People who cannot earn money on their own have no choice but to rely on public services, but elderly people who are able to earn money should continue to do so.

And I hope we can create a society where older people who earn money are respected.

Either is fine with me. It may sound harsh, but I’d like to become an old man who can earn a lot of money.

If you have a skill and can earn money in some way, that’s the best.
